Loqu8 was born out of the founder’s struggle to improve reading and pronunciation in a foreign language—Chinese. Copious Chinese-English dictionaries and encyclopedias have been printed and distributed, but with information changing constantly, only an electronic resource would have the power and flexibility to provide useful information quickly.
Founder Dr. Tim Uy's work in cognitive sciences and information processing lead to his pioneering in developing the iNtuition architecture for implementing augmented learning. After several years of development and refinement, Loqu8 became the vehicle for commercializing advanced learning products.
