Multi-language Extensions (MLX)

Loqu8's Multi-language Extensions (MLX) integrates web-based language services into iCE. When a range of text is highlighted (HighlightScan), iCE will provide a machine-based, auto-translation. When pointing to a single word, MLX can provide an auto-translation from English into another language. Several dozen languages are supported by MLX.
 

In late 2011, Google and Microsoft announced plans to discontinue their free language translation services for software developers using their APIs. Customers who prefer the integrated Google Translation Services offered by Loqu8's MLX have the option of subscribing to the Google service for $30 USD per year. This includes service for one million credits (including words, punctuation and symbols). This is ideal for business professionals, ex-patriots and professional language translators.

WebTranslate

For customers who value auto-translation, Loqu8 has added WebTranslate. When multiple words are selected with HighlightScan, right-click and choose WebTranslate. A new web browser window will reveal three different translations from Google and Microsoft Bing. There is no charge for using this service.
