Loqu8 iCE Learn Chinese works with popular website and email services on Google Chrome.

• Enabling Chrome - for first time iCE users
• Re-enabling Chrome - for users who found iCE disabled after Chrome was updated
• Troubleshooting Chrome - for those who accidentally deleted the Loqu8 extension for Chrome

Enabling Chrome

After installing Loqu8 iCE , enable the Chrome extension. This allows iCE to support LiveScan and HighlightScan functions for web pages with Chinese text.

1. Click Chrome's Settings button (top right corner)

2. Select the extension Loqu8.Capture.Chrome

3. Click Enable extension. This add-on allows Loqu8 iCE to perform LiveScan and HighlightScan

4. Close and re-start Google Chrome

The LiveScan and HighlightScan functions will now work properly.

Re-enabling Chrome

Whenever Chrome performs a "silent upgrade," your extensions may be disabled. Follow these steps to re-enable Loqu8 iCE Learn Chinese.

1. Click Chrome's Customize and control button (top right corner)
2. Choose Settings

3. Select Extensions tab
4. Locate Loqu8.Capture.Chrome and click Enabled
5. Close and re-start Google Chrome

The LiveScan and HighlightScan functions will now work properly.

Troubleshooting Chrome

If you accidentally delete the Loqu8 extension from Google Chrome, it will be added to the "blacklist" and will be invisible. Here's how to make it visible again.

1. Open this location (or equivalent): C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default where NAME is your Windows user name.
2. Open the file Preferences
3. Select File > Find and locate ID ihnbpjiainnmcmoliinbmacanlebjf (or equivalent)
4. Delete the entry and re-start Google Chrome and Loqu8 iCE
