How to use ClipboardScan

To understand several words,
1. Enable ClipboardScan in Settings. Uncheck HighlightScan and check ClipboardScan. Both modes cannot be active at the same time.
2. Highlight the Chinese text or press Ctrl+C (or Edit > Copy)

Understand a range of Chinese text

ClipboardScan

The top reading panel shows auto-translations for a quick (rough) understanding of the text. The bottom detail panel shows details (meaning, Pinyin, etc.) for any words you choose from the top panel.
  • Auto-translation provides a machine-based translation using Google or Bing
  • RubyDefs provide a concise definition from the selected Chinese-English dictionary
  • Meaning is usually a complete definition from the specified dictionary. By default, it's the 113,000 entry CC-CEDICT Chinese-English dictionary. Other dictionaries are available
