Settings: Operation

Scan modes and startup options for Loqu8 iCE Learn Chinese.

Settings

Operation settings allow you to fine-tune how the main and popup windows (LiveScan, HighlightScan and ClipboardScan) appear and respond. If you're satisfied with the way  windows appear on your screen, then keep the default Operation settings.

Settings: Operation

  • Padding: Distance from the mouse pointer to the popup windows (LiveScan, HighlightScan, ClipboardScan)
  • Stickiness: Greater values makes it easier to click and take actions inside the popup windows, but slows responsiveness when moving word to word (LiveScan). If the popup windows seem to move away before you can click inside, then increase this value
  • Auto-start: Check to make Loqu8 iCE load every time you start Windows
  • Minimize on start: Minimize the main Loqu8 window after starting Loqu8 iCE
  • Systray mode: Always hide the main Loqu8 window until you right-click on the iCE program icon from the system tray and choose Show Main
